Making sense of your experience. Creating meaningful change.
You don’t need to have everything worked out before beginning.
You might know that something isn’t right, or just feel stuck without being able to say exactly why.
Therapy can begin there: with what is happening now, and with whatever feels important enough to bring.
You may already understand a lot.
You might recognise your patterns, know where some of them come from, and still find yourself getting caught in the same places.
Knowing why something happens doesn’t always make it easier to change.
Therapy can give you space to look more closely at what keeps happening, and what might begin to feel different.
Who I work with
I work with individual adults who find themselves struggling with something that keeps coming back, getting in the way or proving difficult to change.
- finding yourself caught in similar patterns in relationships;
- reacting strongly to situations without quite understanding why;
- being very hard on yourself, even when you know it is not helping;
Before you get in touch
You might be wondering what happens in the first conversation, whether you need to know exactly what you want to work on, or how we will know whether therapy is helping.
Practical information
Sessions
Face-to-face sessions are 50 minutes, usually weekly.
Fees
£60 per session.
Thinking about therapy?
The first step is a free telephone conversation of up to 20 minutes. There’s no commitment to book a session. It’s a chance to talk a little about what brings you here, ask any questions, and see whether working together feels right.
